A global fiduciary service provider is seeking an experienced professional to join its Singapore office as an Associate Director
. This position blends independent directorship responsibilities with a strategic focus on growing the firm’s fiduciary services offering across Asia Pacific.
Position Overview
You will act as Independent Director for a portfolio of offshore structures while contributing to the commercial expansion of the firm’s fiduciary business. This role is suited to professionals with a strong grounding in corporate governance and offshore structures, who are also commercially minded.

Key Responsibilities
Directorship & Governance
- Act as Independent Director on structures including investment funds (hedge, private equity), segregated portfolio companies, investment holding and operating entities
- Chair and participate in board meetings; review board packs and transaction documents
- Oversee regulatory compliance, AML practices, and governance standards
- Provide oversight on financial reporting and ensure proper risk management
Commercial Development
- Expand the firm’s fiduciary client base across APAC
- Identify new mandates and cross-sell related services (e.g., fund administration, corporate secretarial)
- Build trusted relationships with fund managers, law firms, and intermediaries
- Represent the firm at industry events, forums, and client meetings
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' experience in corporate services, offshore structuring, fund governance, or fiduciary services
- Familiarity with Cayman Islands, BVI, Hong Kong, and Singapore structures
- Proven ability to interface with senior stakeholders and regulators
- Business development experience and an existing network in the fund or corporate services industry is an advantage
- Qualifications in law, accounting, corporate governance, or related field
- Discreet, commercially minded, and comfortable operating at board level
