An established global financial institution is seeking a dynamic AVP, Sales & Relationship Management to drive the expansion of its investment fund services business across Hong Kong, Greater China, and North Asia. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a strong network in mutual funds and alternative investments who can take on full sales responsibility and contribute to a growing regional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities across the region, expanding market presence and deepening relationships with existing clients.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, set up client meetings, and deliver impactful presentations to prospective clients.
- Collaborate closely with client relationship management teams to optimize cross-selling opportunities.
- Work alongside product management to identify and enhance service offerings based on market needs.
- Play an active role in conferences, industry events, and public speaking engagements to enhance brand visibility.
- Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (SFC Type 1 and/or Type 4 licensing preferred) and market developments.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 6+ years of experience in financial services, asset management, or investment fund solutions, with a proven track record in sales, business development, or relationship management .
- Deep industry network and the ability to leverage existing relationships to drive revenue growth.
- Strong commercial acumen with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills .
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
