We're seeking an exceptional Commercial Director to spearhead business development initiatives in China, focusing on facilitating market entry for international enterprises into China and supporting Chinese corporations in their global expansion efforts.
As Commercial Director, you will leverage your extensive network and industry expertise to drive strategic growth, cultivate high-value client relationships, and position our client as the partner of choice for corporate services including entity setup, accounting, payroll, and cross-border business solutions. This influential role combines sophisticated business development with collaborative leadership across global offices, directly impacting the company's market positioning and revenue growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a commercial strategy to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and act on new business opportunities, including new clients, products, or sales channels, to drive growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries and other market stakeholders to enhance the company’s market positioning and generate leads.
- Collaborate with internal teams across global offices to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver integrated client solutions.
- Represent the company’s interests in the market while ensuring alignment with its commercial objectives.
- Occasionally travel within the Asia-Pacific region for business development purposes.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related commercial role within a multinational organization or the corporate services/financial industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Tax, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of corporate services, trust, capital markets, and cross-border investment.
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior-level stakeholders and navigate complex sales cycles.
- Independent, detail-oriented, and highly motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A track record of driving revenue growth and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
