We are partnering with a rapidly expanding fund services organization to recruit dedicated professionals for their specialized hedge fund operations team in Hong Kong. This represents an excellent opportunity for ambitious junior to mid finance professionals to gain comprehensive exposure to hedge fund administration within a collaborative team environment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As a Operations Analyst/Associate , you'll be an integral part of the operational framework, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of critical fund services:
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Perform NAV calculation on assigned hedge funds on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Perform reconciliation of cash and trade positions and resolve breaks in a timely manner.
- Monitor and calculate fund expenses including management fees and performance fees.
- Prepare investor statements and transaction reports.
- Assist in the invoicing process and collection of receivables.
- Handle general administrative tasks and liaise with other departments as required.
- Provide support to other operations tasks as assigned from time to time.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree with major in Accounting, Finance or any related disciplines.
- 4-6 years working experience preferably gained in the financial services industry. Fund Services experience would be a plus.
- Proactive, mature, high level of attention to detail, able to work independently under pressure and strong sense of meeting tight committed deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skill.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
