We are on the hunt for Corporate Actions and Income Associate you will be the subject matter expert for the team and to handle the various aspects of corporate actions, particularly the Equity-Linked Notes. You will be responsible to focus on process improvements while delivering good service and reducing operational risk.

Responsibilities
  • Authorize, validation, repair and execution of Inbound-Outbound instructions (from customers/to depositories/agent)
  • Contact depository, issuer, delivery/paying agents for reconciliation purposes or event clarifications
  • Instruct and reconcile cash and/or securities discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Support complex customer queries and take charge of investigations
  • Escalate and report issues to Management on issues and challenges in a timely manner.
  • Take ownership, work on and ensuring issue resolution in a timely manner
  • Engage in continuous process improvement, challenging status-quo and working on process improvement and automation of manual processes to streamline operational flows for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support any other tasks related to Corporate Actions
Who we are looking for
  • At least 3 Years of relevant banking experience
  • Business / Finance/ Economics university diploma/degree and/or a related discipline
  • Pro-active and willing to learn, propose improvements
  • Strong team player, able to collaborate with colleagues effectively
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and mindset
  • Detail-oriented and a strong sense of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently when assigned to projects/specialized tasks
  • Confident working under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining good organisation and prioritization
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Smooth and good presentation skills are a plus.
  • Competency in handling MS Office applications, Access and/or Excel. VBA knowledge added advantage
