About the Role

A prestigious asset management firm backed by a global investment group is seeking a Distribution Sales Director to lead its fundraising and distribution efforts across the Middle East. 

The firm offers a diverse and expanding investment platform spanning public and private market strategies and is entering a major phase of international expansion.

This is a foundational hire based in Dubai , reporting directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will take full ownership of building out the firm’s distribution and intermediary sales strategy across the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead fundraising initiatives across the Middle East via private banks, family offices, wealth managers, insurance distributors, and other wholesale channels.

  • Drive product onboarding and shelf space with leading regional private banks and wealth platforms.

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of accredited investors, family offices, and wealth intermediaries in key markets.

  • Build and manage long-term relationships with product gatekeepers, distributors, and strategic partners.

  • Represent the firm at client meetings, investment forums, and product presentations.

  • Collaborate closely with internal investment, product, and compliance teams to support fund marketing, due diligence, and onboarding processes.


Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in fund distribution, intermediary sales, or wholesale sales within a global asset management or investment firm.

  • Proven track record of successfully onboarding funds onto private banking or wealth platforms and delivering strong fundraising outcomes.

  • Strong network of relationships across MENA private banks, family offices, and distribution partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; highly commercial and relationship-driven.

  • Self-starter with a “hunter” mindset – comfortable driving new relationships and leading business development independently.

  • Familiarity with mutual funds, alternative strategies, and Sharia-compliant investment structures will be an advantage.
