Firm Type: Multi-Family Office – Global Equities
AUM: US$300M+ | Concentrated Portfolio
The Opportunity
Our client is a Singapore-based multi-family office managing a concentrated, long-term global equity portfolio for a sophisticated principal. The investment style bridges Deep Value and GARP , with a disciplined, bottom-up focus on capital preservation and compounding.
They are hiring an Equity Analyst (3–7 years’ experience) to work directly with the Managing Partner and a key client. This is a front-seat role in real capital allocation—ideal for a tech-forward analyst who wants to pair classical fundamental research with AI-enabled workflows and influence a US$300M+ portfolio.
This is not a support role. You will be a thinking partner at the table.
The Role
You will own the research engine behind the portfolio—protecting what’s held and discovering what’s next.
- Portfolio Monitoring & Sell Discipline: Maintain a live pulse on a ~100-name universe. Surface material changes from filings, earnings, and industry news; produce sell theses when fundamentals or valuation break.
- Idea Generation: Use traditional screens and AI-driven workflows to identify high-conviction global ideas.
- Fundamental Research: Build bottom-up models and write clear investment memos defining the variant view, upside, and risks.
- Research Stack: Design and refine a proprietary AI-enabled research workflow to process unstructured data faster than traditional teams.
- Direct Collaboration: Act as a research partner to the Managing Partner, producing decision-grade work for the principal.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3–7 years, with at least one buy-side role (long–short or multi-manager pod a plus).
- Mindset: Generalist; comfortable across regions and sectors.
- Modern Edge: AI power user; able to build automated workflows. Python/SQL is a strong advantage.
- Rigor: Finance, Economics, Engineering, or similar; CFA a plus.
- Communication: Clear, persuasive writer.
- Presence: In-office, five days a week in Singapore.
