Our client, a growing investment platform, is seeking a highly motivated  Finance & Operations Specialist  to support financial management, operations, and compliance. This role suits someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with numbers, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Key Responsibilities: Treasury & Fund Operations
  • Review and approve accounts receivable/payable transactions prepared by junior team members
  • Monitor and reconcile intercompany balances on a quarterly basis
  • Prepare quarterly budget and forecast reviews
  • Act as primary liaison with custodians to execute trades in listed securities
  • Coordinate with fund administrators and custodians to ensure accurate and timely recording of fund transactions
  • Support investment operations including allocations, capital calls, and distributions
Audit & Compliance
  • Liaise with external auditors, ensuring timely provision of required documentation
  • Manage statutory filings in coordination with auditors and fund administrators
  • Maintain investor risk records and conduct CDD documentation management
  • Assist with regulatory reporting (MAS, FATCA, CRS, etc.)
  • Contribute to the implementation of robust internal controls and risk management processes
Tax
  • Work with tax advisors on structuring matters as needed
  • Oversee timely completion of tax filings for LP reporting and queries
  • Manage quarterly GST and annual corporate tax submissions
Portfolio & Administration
  • Monitor portfolio company-related correspondence and corporate actions
  • Maintain portfolio monitoring systems
  • Coordinate document execution and logistics with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or Business
  • 3–4 years’ relevant experience in asset management or investment firms
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero) preferred
  • Strong multitasking skills and adaptability
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, analytical, and proactive
