The OpportunityAs a Fund Accountant/Transfer Agency Specialist, you'll join their Fund Services' accounting team in Singapore, taking responsibility for a portfolio of investment funds and special purpose vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity for a fund accounting professional who thrives in a boutique, entrepreneurial environment with international exposure.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a key point of contact for a portfolio of fund and SPV clients, managing relationships with external stakeholders
- Perform comprehensive fund accounting functions including transaction processing, security pricing, reconciliations, fee calculations, and NAV reporting
- Handle transfer agency duties including investor onboarding, preparing notices for capital calls, distributions, subscriptions and redemptions
- Prepare annual financial statements according to relevant accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS/SFRS)
- Manage the audit process to ensure timely completion within budget
- Coordinate GST and tax compliance filings with external advisors
- Execute client payments and ensure proper administrative record-keeping
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements
- Singapore resident with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant fund accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance frameworks
- Experience with PFS-Paxus and FIS Private Capital Suite (formerly Investran) is highly desirable
- Chartered Accountant accreditation or equivalent is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Proactive mindset with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
