Role Overview
The Execution Trader will work closely with the Senior Execution Trader and CIO to ensure the flawless execution of trades. It requires a candidate who is dependable, calm under pressure, and capable of operating as a reliable "right hand" to the senior trading desk.
Key Responsibilities- Order Execution: Execute long/short equity and futures orders across the Japan and Asia markets, focusing on Best Execution to minimise slippage and market impact.
- Trade Lifecycle Management: Ensure the accuracy of trade entries and coordinate with Operations for seamless post-trade processing and T+0 matching.

- Broker Relations: Maintain professional relationships with sell-side execution desks and ensure optimal service levels.
- Professional Experience: 1–3 years of experience in trade execution. Prior experience in a hedge fund or institutional environment is a strong advantage.
- Asset Class Knowledge: Solid understanding of equities and futures . Familiarity with the Japanese market is preferred.
- Operational Discipline: A "zero-mistake" mindset. You must be highly organized and able to follow strict trading protocols without constant supervision.
- Team Player: A collaborative attitude. You are here to support the fund's success and work harmoniously with the CIO and other functions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel. Experience with EMS/OMS platforms.
- Communication: Strong command of English. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus given the market focus, but not a requirement.
