A well-established global corporate services provider with a strong presence in the asset management space is seeking an experienced professional to lead their Fund Corporate Secretarial Services across the APAC region. This is a strategic leadership position that will drive the growth and enhancement of their funds business line.
Role Overview:As the Senior Director, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality corporate secretarial services to fund clients throughout APAC, ensuring consistent service standards across multiple jurisdictions. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the company's Fund SPV strategy in the region, bringing an integrated approach to cross-border client servicing.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Fund corporate secretarial strategy for APAC, focusing on integrated cross-border service delivery
- Manage operations for multiple cross-border corporate secretarial teams, including P&L and people management
- Build and maintain relationships with key fund clients in the region
- Collaborate with leaders across different service lines to deliver comprehensive solutions including SPV accounting, fund administration and corporate services
- Drive innovation and long-term success for the corporate secretarial business in APAC
- Serve as a member of the APAC leadership team, reporting directly to the APAC Managing Director
- Extensive experience in corporate secretarial services, preferably with multinational or APAC-wide responsibilities
- Strong background working with asset managers, particularly private equity and real estate funds
- Deep understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Exceptional leadership skills with proven ability to manage teams across multiple jurisdictions
- Outstanding relationship management and communication abilities
- Commercial mindset with strong client relationship management experience
- Experience with offshore jurisdictions (Cayman Islands, BVI) would be advantageous
- Cross-cultural awareness gained from working across different countries
