The Company
Our client is a fast-growing corporate services provider established in Greater China. With an entrepreneurial culture and rapidly expanding client base, they need a structured operations leader to bring systems and processes to their growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Standardization
- Lead offshore business operations including company incorporation, maintenance, fund establishment, and compliance services
- Develop standardized workflows and operational procedures to enhance efficiency and quality
- Implement and monitor key performance metrics to track service delivery and team performance
- Drive process optimization initiatives to handle increasing case volumes while maintaining quality
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and develop a large, growing team (70-100+ professionals) in China
- Design team structure, define roles, and establish clear performance expectations
- Create and implement training programs to strengthen expertise and problem-solving capabilities
- Build a high-performance culture that balances quality, compliance, and efficiency
Compliance & Risk Management
- Oversee compliance frameworks for offshore operations across multiple jurisdictions
- Balance regulatory requirements with operational efficiency and client expectations
- Coordinate with the compliance department to resolve complex or exceptional cases
- Develop risk-controlled solutions for challenging client scenarios
Cross-Border Collaboration
- Oversee operations across multiple locations in Greater China
- Establish standardized communication and coordination mechanisms between offices
- Manage relationships with overseas partners and service providers
- Travel required
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 10+ years of experience in corporate services or offshore business operations
- Demonstrated experience leading large teams (50+ professionals)
- Strong understanding of offshore structures and regulatory requirements (BVI, Cayman, Hong Kong)
- Excellent operational management skills with proven ability to implement systems and processes
- Fluent Mandarin required (business level proficiency)
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Law, Finance or related field

- Experience with high-growth, entrepreneurial environments
- Background in corporate governance
- Experience managing operations across multiple locations
- Systems implementation and process optimization expertise
- STEP, HKCGI, or CGI professional certifications (preferred but not mandatory)

Working Arrangements- Location: Shanghai (preferred) or Hong Kong
