This is a senior, client-facing seat at the centre of our Singapore corporate services practice. You will own day-to-day delivery for a portfolio of corporate clients, oversee internal office operations and accounting, act as nominee director and lead a small team where required. The brief is built for an accounting-trained, client-savvy professional who can advise on the full corporate lifecycle and execute legal documents with confidence — not a corporate secretarial specialist and not a fund administrator.
- Client Account Management & Advisory
- Own senior relationships across a portfolio of SPVs, holding companies, and fund management companies
- Field consultative client queries on the full corporate lifecycle (entity setup, restructuring, strike-off versus continuation, debt resolution sequencing)
- Serve as the trusted point of contact for clients establishing or maintaining their Singapore presence
- Accounting (internal and for clients)
- Oversee internal accounting end-to-end: management accounts, statutory accounts, GST, payroll, billing, AR/AP, audit liaison
- Internal accounting will be supported by accounting colleague
- Manage workflow and deadline-sensitive statutory filing schedules in-house
- Maintain corporate accounting operational quality without resorting to offshoring
- Team Leadership (ideally, but depending on candidate’s experience and skillsets)
- Lead a small team comprising one corporate accountant and one corporate secretary
- Coordinate with shared onboarding support across corporate and fund clients
- Grow the team alongside portfolio expansion
- Nominee Directorships
- Take on nominee directorships for client entities, including sole-director arrangements
- Review and execute legal documents (board resolutions, shareholder consents, share transfers, lifecycle filings) with business-law literacy — external counsel reserved for non-routine matters
- Uphold ACRA, AML/CFT, and KYC obligations
Must-Have Qualifications
- Accounting background — degree in accounting or finance; Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, ISCA, or equivalent strongly preferred
- Six or more years of experience in corporate services or a closely related professional services discipline
- Demonstrable client account management experience with international or cross-border clients
- Working knowledge of Singapore corporate law sufficient to review legal documents
- Practical command of ACRA filing obligations, AML/CFT frameworks, and KYC protocols
- People management experience in a small-team setting
- Qualified Individual (QI) status with ACRA under the CSP framework
- Hands-on familiarity with statutory accounting platforms (Xero, Jaz, or comparable)
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
