Our client, a leading provider of investment fund services, is seeking an experienced Vice President, Sales & Relationship Management to drive business growth and deepen client relationships across Hong Kong, Greater China, and Asia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing commercial team within a globally recognized financial services organization.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of relationships with key clients, including retail banks, private banks, custodian banks, wealth management platforms, and fund distributors.
  • Build strong working relationships with decision-makers and influencers across the client base.
  • Identify opportunities for incremental revenue generation through upselling and cross-selling investment fund services.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients, optimizing service migration.
  • Oversee contractual, commercial, and operational issue resolution, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements (AML/KYC, legal, audit, credit).
  • Develop strategic account plans to position the firm’s value proposition as a market leader.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, contributing to thought leadership and client engagement.
  • Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
 

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Proven track record in managing large, strategic client relationships within the investment fund services or asset servicing space.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking services and processes related to investment funds.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities with a client-centric mindset.
  • Education: University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Licensing: SFC Type 1 and/or Type 4 License preferred
  • Flexibility: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a regional team; occasional travel expected.
