VP of Finance - Data Center Platform

Our client is an ambitious data center platform backed by a highly respected founder with deep industry credentials. With active projects spanning Europe and Asia, they are at an exciting inflection point as they scale their international footprint. This is your chance to be employee number one on the finance side for overseas operations. You will sit at the table with the founder and senior leadership team, building the entire finance operation from a blank sheet of paper. If you have ever wanted to shape how a high-growth platform manages its financial operations across borders, this is it.

You are the architect. Design and implement the full finance infrastructure including systems, policies, reporting cadence, and governance. As the team grows, you will be responsible for hiring and developing your own team.

Take ownership of the numbers. Prepare consolidated financial statements, statutory accounts, and management reports that tell the real story. Drive the annual budgeting process and build robust forecasts that guide strategic decisions across multiple geographies.

Manage the capital side of the business. Structure and execute debt financing arrangements including bonds and bank facilities. Monitor interest rate exposure and financial risks tied to the borrowing profile. Work closely with lenders and financial institutions to optimize the balance sheet.

Support financing for large-scale infrastructure projects. Build financial models that hold up under scrutiny, coordinate due diligence, and engage with banks and advisors to secure project-level funding. Understand how to structure deals across jurisdictions.

Run the day-to-day financial engine. Oversee AP, AR, treasury, and working capital management. Establish procurement frameworks and payment workflows. Keep a close eye on cashflow at both project and group levels.

Be the point person for external auditors. Ensure the company stays compliant with tax and regulatory requirements across Singapore, Europe, and other markets. Coordinate with local advisors on cross-border tax matters and statutory filings.

Cultivate strong relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and other financial partners. You will represent the company in these conversations and be expected to maintain credibility and trust.

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• 10+ years in finance roles with real depth in infrastructure, real estate, energy, or other capital-intensive sectors
• Proven experience structuring and managing project financing and corporate debt
• Track record of building finance functions or taking on first-hire finance roles in growing companies
• Strong technical skills across financial modeling, consolidation, statutory reporting, and FP&A
• Comfortable working across borders with an understanding of multi-jurisdictional tax and regulatory landscapes
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and unafraid to roll up your sleeves
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication

• Experience working with PE-backed companies or in high-growth environments
• Exposure to data center, renewable energy, or digital infrastructure sectors
• Familiarity with green financing or sustainability-linked funding structures
• Mandarin or other languages useful for cross-border coordination
• Prior experience working with Chinese or European stakeholders
